GEO's Local Partner Discusses the Conference Focus on Continuous Learning

Conference Attendees Embrace New GEO Programs
In an effort to reduce the environmental impact of the conference on the host community, GEO invited conference attendees to participate in a carbon offset program to reduce their carbon footprint for travel. More than $430 was donated to Carbonfund.org to support innovative projects that are reducing carbon emissions globally. To learn more, read our sustainability plan here.
More than 65 conference attendees participated in GEO’s Ambassador Program to deepen both first-time and seasoned participants’ networking experience by creating lasting connections that strengthen grantmakers’ work and build community.
